9th welfare project in Welusumanagam in Seeppukulama village in Mihintale
The 9th Welfare Project of the Sukhita Welfare Foundation was successfully implemented at Sri Seelavansa Dhamma School, Seeppukulama, Anuradhapura, marking another meaningful step in our continued mission to support rural education and spiritual learning. This initiative directly benefited 120 Dhamma school students, who were provided with essential educational materials including school bags and learning supplies. In addition, the Dhamma School itself received vital support through the donation of classroom writing boards, helping to improve the overall learning environment for both students and teachers. Seeppukulama village, located in the Mihintale Divisional Secretariat of Anuradhapura District, is a rural community that continues to face significant challenges, particularly in terms of basic infrastructure and access to educational resources. Despite these difficulties, Sri Seelavansa Dhamma School has remained committed to nurturing children’s moral values, discipline, and education under challenging conditions. In this context, the implementation of this project served as a powerful gesture of support and encouragement. It not only addressed immediate educational needs but also strengthened the spirit of resilience within the school community. The assistance provided acted as a much-needed helping hand for both the students and the institution, enabling a more supportive and hopeful learning environment. This achievement would not have been possible without the generous contributions and unwavering support of our donors and well-wishers. Your compassion has directly contributed to uplifting the lives of these children, bringing joy, dignity, and renewed motivation to their educational journey. The smiling faces of the students stand as a true reflection of the impact of your kindness.
